Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage terminal operations to ensure efficient and safe handling of goods and materials.
Supervise terminal staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
Develop and implement operational procedures and policies to optimize workflow and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
Coordinate with logistics teams to plan and execute the movement of goods in and out of the terminal.
Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting audits, and implementing replenishment strategies.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and promote a culture of safety among terminal staff.
Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and issue resolution, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with other departments, such as maintenance and finance, to support overall business objectives.
Prepare regular reports on terminal performance and present findings to senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience in terminal operations management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of terminal processes and procedures.
Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and compliance standards.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in computer systems and software applications relevant to terminal operations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
