The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, primarily those involving new branch development. Effective project management, coordination with employees/vendors, and communication skills are essential. The position requires formulating strategies and implementing processes that will streamline branch opening processes amongst other things.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Leads moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects and peers.
• Designs, develops, and manages project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements.
• Ensures projects are being documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time.
• Leverages problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent.
• Possesses strong communication and partnership skills, which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
• Exhibits outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts.
• Prepares FDIC application documents for new branches and submits applications once the documents are reviewed and approved.
• Coordinates with architects/engineers, contractors, sign vendors, city permitting offices, landlords, and other parties as necessary to ensure obstacles threatening construction progress are addressed quickly so tenant improvement projects are completed timely.
• Monitors and tracks project costs to ensure they align with budget expectations and provides progress reports to the Chief Banking Officer regularly.
• Collaborates with internal staff to plan project timelines, resource availability, project requirements, technology standards, and roadmaps under tight timelines and changing requirements.
• Creates and maintains project documentation with a systematic approach to track the progress of all individual tasks to be performed by vendors and employees to ensure projects remain on schedule and provides progress reports to the Chief Banking Officer regularly.

Qualifications:

• Relevant PM Certification or education (PMP or equivalent) preferred.
• A minimum of 3 years of project management and Branch Operations Experience.
• Ability to manage and lead diverse groups, peers, vendors and a wide variety of technical and non-technical staff at all levels in a matrix environment to meet project milestones and schedules.
• Ability to effectively analyze unique issues/problems without precedent and/or structure and problem solve collaboratively.
• Ability to manage multiple programs or projects without direct authority in a consultative, collaborative and team-oriented style.
• Good presentation, communication, facilitation and influence skills; understanding of organizational change management concepts.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of internal staff members and external professionals
• Thorough and results-focused when identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Ability to work independently, create and manage time schedules, manage multiple activities and priorities, and maintain productivity.
• Foundational knowledge of branch operations, core platform functions, proficiencies and integration.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Project or other project management tools.
• Ensures compliance within all bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable state and federal banking regulations.
