Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Recovery Representative to join our dynamic team. This role involves resolving bank returned items efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a background in customer service, finance, or banking, with a knack for problem-solving and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
Resolve bank returned items accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring quality customer service to both internal and external clients.
Educate clients and branches on resolution processes and alternative service options when necessary.
Develop and maintain knowledge of company products, including Taxpay, Direct Deposit, Garnishments, 401(k), Workers Compensation, Health and Benefits, National Health FSA, FSA Debit card Advantage, and corresponding systems.
Research and resolve product and service issues, managing objections and ensuring return resolution to recover lost revenue.
Handle inbound phone requirements and perform daily processing of returned items for assigned products.
Manage daily EDI payment and payroll hold reports to ensure accuracy and timeliness, avoiding penalty assessment and service-related issues.
Maintain daily call requirements based on provided forecasts and ensure compliance with department policies and procedures.
Evaluate client status to determine appropriate services, mitigating risk and exposure to the company.
Participate in ongoing training to enhance knowledge and skills and ensure adherence to regulatory agencies' guidelines, including the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and NACHA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration preferred.
Experience In Customer Service, Finance, Accounting, Or Payroll Preferred.Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Collections Or Banking Experience Preferred.Reliable internet and designated quiet work environment for remote work.
Background and Drug screening required.
