Job Description: The Senior Property Manager will be responsible for the overall management and operations of a portfolio of commercial properties. This includes ensuring the properties are well-maintained, managing tenant relations, and overseeing financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of a portfolio of commercial properties.
- Develop and implement property management policies and procedures.
- Ensure properties are well-maintained and meet all safety and compliance standards.
- Manage tenant relations, including addressing tenant concerns and facilitating lease negotiations.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, financial reports, and variance analyses.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to maintain property standards.
- Conduct regular property inspections and implement maintenance programs.
- Assist in the leasing process, including marketing vacant spaces and negotiating lease terms.
- Ensure timely collection of rents and manage accounts receivable.
- Supervise and mentor property management staff.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial property management.
- Certified Property Manager (CPM) or Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation preferred.
- Strong knowledge of commercial property management principles, practices, and standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze financial reports and develop budgets.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
