Immediate need for superintendent, this position you will be responsible for completing projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and in conformance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Most importantly: Must be able to interact with customer representatives in an ethical and professional manner.
Areas of Responsibility: CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE, BUDGETS, QUALITY, CONTRACTS, JOB SITE, PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT, AND SAFETY & HEALTH
Education/Experience:
A combination of four-year degree or five years of experience managing construction projects of increasing complexity including, most importantly, experience in the repair and renovation of multi-family apartment complexes.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Construction Documents:
Ability to read and decipher construction drawings, i.e. architectural and structural plans, MEP drawings, and designer drawings.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
Basic understanding of Outlook, Word & Excel.
