AppleOne Employment Services is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Minneapolis, MN

We are looking for a Talent Aquisition Specialist in Minneapolis, MN! 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing.

Direct hire role

Salary: up to $75,000 plus commission

The HR and Talent Acquisition Specialist performs talent acquisition duties to attract and hire new employees for the organization, including sourcing, job posting, interviewing and onboarding. The position also processes employee information in company systems and performs other HR Generalist duties.

Duties:

Performs Talent Acquisition duties:

o Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.

o Creates and maintains internal and external job postings; determines effective advertising mediums; places appropriate advertisements.

o Creates interview guides with job-related and competency-based questions.

o Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, media advertisements, job fairs, recruiting firms, or employee referrals.

o Review applicants resumes and job qualification requirements in order to match applicants with job requirements.

o Schedules and conducts initial video or phone interviews with applicants.

o Screens for qualified job applicants and refers them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.

o Prepares and communicates job offers to final candidates.

o Coordinates hire dates with applicants and hiring managers.

o Schedules and conducts new employee orientation; updates presentation as needed.

o Coordinates with Safety and Operations to ensure required training for new employees is conducted.

Qualifications:

o 4-year Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities

o Two to four years of related experience in a staffing/talent acquisition role

o Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate effectively, clearly and succinctly through spoken and written forms with peers, management, and customers. Able to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds

o Effective use of company provided software and tools including: Microsoft Office Suite, PDF Software and ability to learn other software, as needed

o Previous experience with and proficient in using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

· Preferred qualifications are:

· PHR or SPHR Certification

o Experience in a staffing role for a construction company
