We're looking for a driven Collections Representative to join our team and play a vital role in our financial success.

In this role, you'll be responsible for contacting customers with past due accounts, resolving delinquencies, and ensuring timely payments.

You'll navigate situations with professionalism and empathy, while upholding the highest ethical standards.

Here's what you'll be doing :

Professionally communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to discuss past due accounts

Actively listen to customer concerns and identify the root cause of delinquencies

Develop and negotiate flexible payment plans tailored to individual situations

Collect payments and process them securely

Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and account updates

Strive to maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the collection process

Adhere to all federal and state laws governing debt collection (e.g., Fair Debt Collection Practices Act)

To be a great fit, you'll have :

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree a plus)

Minimum 1 year of experience in collections or customer service (collections experience preferred)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and navigate sensitive situations

Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines

A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to ethical business practices
