Job Summary :
We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Clerk / HR Assistant to support our accounting and HR functions. This role will primarily involve handling accounts payable (A / P) and accounts receivable (A / R), along with assisting the HR Manager with various tasks, including overseeing staffing agencies.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, some HR experience, and the ability to thrive in a small company setting.
Key Responsibilities :
Accounting :
Manage and process accounts payable (A / P) and accounts receivable (A / R).
Reconcile bank statements and assist in month-end closing.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Assist with preparing financial reports and documentation.
Human Resources :
Support the HR Manager with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Oversee staffing agencies and coordinate with temporary staff as needed.
Assist with maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with HR policies.
Help organize employee training programs and development initiatives.
General :
Perform various administrative tasks to support different departments.
Adapt to changing priorities and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Foster a positive work environment and contribute to team cohesion.
Qualifications :
3 years of experience in accounting, particularly in accounts payable and receivable.
Some experience in HR functions, such as recruitment and employee management.
Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
Familiarity with accounting software and HR systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility and willingness to take on diverse tasks in a small company environment.
