Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19104
Start Date: ASAP – 6 months
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (ON-SITE)
Pay: $38.00/hour
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Project Coordinator for a 6-month contract to manage capital project closeouts, oversee CAD file management, and support the digitization of architectural documents. The position will involve coordinating with project teams, scanning and indexing documents, and providing customer support in the Facilities Resource Center (FRC). This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in project coordination and facilities management.
Principal Responsibilities:
Project Closeout Coordination: Work with project teams to review and close out capital projects (25%).
CAD File Management: Load and manage CAD files, ensuring proper labeling and accurate project numbers (25%).
Document Digitization: Scan, photograph, or label hardcopy drawings and incorporate them into the document management system (20%).
Customer Support: Assist with drawing or information searches, and maintain storage areas (15%).
Reproduction & Distribution: Send out drawings for reproduction, arrange for pickup and delivery, and manage digital content distribution (10%).
Database Management: Work with construction management software and document systems to ensure accurate documentation storage (5%).
Qualifications:
Required:
BA/BS in Architecture, Facilities Management, Computer-Aided Drafting, or related field.
At least 2 years of experience with CAD drafting or manual drafting in an office environment.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Release 2013 drafting software.
Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and network structures.
Strong ability to work independently on detailed tasks and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Preferred:
Experience with document management systems, CAD software, and image editing tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.
Knowledge of municipal documentation for utility systems and urban infrastructure.
Familiarity with the campus and building history is a plus.
