This is workshop-style manufacturing and NOT a conveyor belt-style assembly line. They offer a very clean, climate-controlled, efficient work environment with positive people.

Job Summary

The Production Support Associate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. This role primarily involves moving products around the production area to support various stages of manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to respond quickly to changing needs on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Movement:

• Transport products, materials, and components to various locations within the production area as needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of items to support production schedules.

Support Production Operations:

• Assist production teams by providing the necessary materials and components to ensure continuous workflow.
• Collaborate with production supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet production deadlines.

Inventory Management:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of materials and products in the production area.
• Report any shortages or discrepancies to the production supervisor.
• Assist with inventory counts and audits.

Safety and Cleanliness:

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

General Support:

• Provide general support to the production team as needed, including assisting with light assembly or packaging tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the production supervisor or management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to [specific weight, e.g., 50 pounds]).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and material handling equipment.
