Lawn Maintenance

Reports To: Service Manager/ Lawn Maintenance Supervisor

Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt

Type: Seasonal

Purpose: Lawn Maintenance team members are responsible for mowing, weed whacking, blowing debris, and spring and fall clean-ups for residential and commercial sites as directed by a site supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Mow residential and commercial properties, as assigned, utilizing zero turn mowers.
• Utilize other equipment to maintain properties like trimmers, blowers, and walk behind mowers.
• Provide quality customer service as needed.
• Work at a fast pace, doing quality work and stay until the work is done for the day.
• Must be able to maintenance equipment when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

• 6 months of experience with zero turn mowers, trimmers, blowers, and walk behind mowers.
• Minnesota's Driver's License (good driving record and proof of insurability).
• Applicator's License - this is preferred, but not required (pesticide, herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age to operate riding lawnmowers, powered lawn, and gardening equipment.

Job Type: Seasonal

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Experience:

• Landscape maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Forest Lake, MN 55025 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Forest Lake, MN 55025: Relocate before starting work (Required)
