Delivery Driver Job Description - Appliance & Furniture RentAll

Part-Time Monday - Friday Afternoons 25 Hours/week

Job Description:

As a Delivery Associate at Appliance & Furniture RentAll, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring the smooth and timely delivery of appliances and furniture to our valued customers in Sioux Falls, SD.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver appliances and furniture to customers' designated locations promptly and safely
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with product placement and answering any delivery-related questions
  • Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management by properly documenting deliveries and returns
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of delivery vehicle and report any maintenance issues
  • Adhere to all traffic and safety regulations while driving and operating delivery vehicle
  • Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
  • Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by dispatch or supervisor
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet customer demands and achieve delivery goals

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to handle heavy items and perform physical tasks required for delivery
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
