Applied Dynamics is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Representative

Job Description:

  • Maintains a professional and courteous demeanor with all customers and colleagues.
  • Facilitate getting customer answers to technical questions utilizing internal support and outside manufacturers support. 
  • Receives requests from customers and assists customers in defining their product need, resolving customer issues, placing new orders, and providing quotes for future orders.
  • Produces detailed and accurate repair quotes based on in-house inspection reports.
  • Utilizes in-house software program to for all quoting, ordering, and tracking.
  • Follow up on quotes and update status into software system.
  • Considers alternate methods for satisfying customer needs and provides the customer with the most cost-effective solution.

Position Requirements:

  • Work independently, as well as a team
  • Work effectively with a sense of urgency
  • Strong selling techniques with ability to cross sell
  • Able to adapt quickly to changes and multitasking
  • Strong customer service skills are required
  • Computer literacy is required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Technical competency with electromechanical equipment in the areas of motors, drives, pumps, gearboxes, hoists, and other applicable products is a plus. Ongoing training provided.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant inside sales experience a plus
  • Industrial Equipment Experience a plus
