Position Description As a CNC Programmer, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities: Programming 3 and 5 axis CNC Milling machines and/or 7 axis Mill Turn and Bar Fed Mills. Maintain quality standards and schedules Follow instructions and standard procedures Interface with engineering, department supervisors and quality control inspection, coworkers and upper management Position Requirements This position requires the following skills and attributes: 5 years of experience in programming 3-axis and/or 5-axis CNC machines or lathes Working knowledge of a variety of materials: stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, tool steels, etc. Experience in Autodesk FeatureCAM or equivalent software Ability to hold tight tolerances Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work overtime, if needed Preferred Experience in machining hardened tool steels Experience with molds and mold components Experience in machining multiple grades of stainless steel Benefits The base compensation range for this role is $25-$35/ hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting. Each amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation once such amount is earned and determinable. The amount and availability of any bonus, commission, benefit or any other form of compensation may be modified at the Company's sole discretion, consistent with the law.
