Our client is looking to expand their Finance & Accounting team by adding a Corporate Accounting Manager to oversee the Firm’s corporate accounting, reporting, compliance, and administration functions. Reporting directly to the CFO, this pivotal role will manage a wide range of financial activities across our corporate entities in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The Corporate Accounting Manager will serve as a key individual contributor and will also oversee coordination with several outsourced service providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Corporate Accounting:

• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of monthly corporate financial reporting.
• Manage corporate cash flow forecasting and financial planning.
• Oversee corporate treasury functions and banking relationships.
• Lead corporate budgeting processes aligned with strategic goals.
• Coordinate corporate tax preparation in collaboration with external tax preparers.
• Administer monthly fund reimbursable processes for accurate cost allocations.
• Supervise the outsourced corporate accounting team for quality and efficiency.

Payables & Expense Reporting:

• Oversee corporate payables processes and AP system management.
• Coordinate invoicing for property billable expenses and ensure timely collections.
• Manage the expense reporting system and approve employee expense reports.
• Reconcile corporate card transactions and manage the corporate card program.
• Coordinate annual vendor 1099 reporting and compliance.

HR & Administrative:

• Coordinate new employee onboarding with outsourced HR.
• Ensure accurate bi-monthly payroll processing and recording.
• Administer 401k and HSA plans.
• Manage HRIS system for data integrity.
• Oversee corporate administration tasks for smooth operations.
• Supervise virtual administrative assistants supporting accounting functions.

Compliance:

• Conduct annual compliance manual review with external consultants.
• Coordinate annual compliance training for employees.
• Manage cybersecurity tasks including firewall testing and phishing campaigns.
• Assist with investor Anti-Money Laundering checks.

Special Projects:

• Lead selection and implementation of corporate accounting systems.
• Manage and execute special projects to improve efficiency and align with business goals.
• Respond to ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requests.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and implement necessary compliance updates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 7 years of corporate accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Proficiency in financial software and HRIS systems.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting processes.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Effective multitasking abilities and adherence to deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and alignment with core values.

• Hybrid position with the option for 2-3 days/week remote work.
