Applied Fluid Power and FCX Performance are looking for a passionate individual to join our web and digital marketing team as a Digital Marketing SEO Analyst. This new role will partner with other marketing teams to develop and implement SEO strategies and tactics that align with the business’s objectives.

As the Digital Marketing SEO Analyst, you will lead our SEO strategy, identify highest impact activities that align with our business model and priorities, and execute on those opportunities; in addition to playing an important role in the content development.

To be successful in this position, the candidate must be a self-starter who is comfortable participating and contributing from the start. Natural curiosity, creativity and a lifelong learner mentality will also be keys to success.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrated expertise across all SEO disciplines, with a focus on on-page optimization, technical performance, and reporting.
  • Strong competitive research background, with the ability to document and track competition's presence and design strategies to outrank.
  • Leads on-site, off-site, and technical SEO initiatives, as well as SEO processes (i.e., reporting, metadata, keyword analysis/strategies, internal & external linking, social media campaigns, etc.).
  • Audits and maintain/improve SEO performance for our brand websites.
  • Functions as the point of contact for third party resources and as the internal subject matter expert in guiding technical teams on the best approach for SEO (i.e., site architecture, canonicalization, crawlability, indexability, page speed, markup, structured data, etc.).
  • Experience with Google Search Console, leading SEO, web analytics, reporting, content tools and PPC best practices.
  • Develops insights and strategies and stay current on new search, marketing, and e-commerce trends.
  • Creates and maintains analytics reports on search engine performance and provides insights and recommendations for improvements.

Skills required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of SEO-specific work experience
  • A proven track record of delivering results through SEO
  • Proficiency with content management systems, knowledge of SEO, XML, JavaScript, and CSS as they relate to SEO
  • Strong project management, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience with leading SEO, web analytics, reporting, content tools and technologies
  • SEO-specific and Google Analytics certifications are a plus
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office required.
  • B2B Marketing, lead gen and/or e-commerce experience a plus though not required.
