Aprende Institute is Hiring an Account Executive Near Miami, FL

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Executive with a strong background in healthcare sales of workforce development solutions in acute or post-acute care settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and securing new clients. This role requires you to be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, willing to get creative and test new strategies to attract leads, self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, and possess a deep understanding of sales in the healthcare market. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in our mission to increase diversity in the healthcare workforce while addressing pressing talent shortages, fostering meaningful relationships with clients and advocating for the importance of diversity, equity, and inclusion in building a resilient healthcare workforce that better represents the patient population it serves.

  • Sales Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare sector.
    • Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
    • Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters throughout the sales cycle.
    • Use the Aprende sales plays to build a solution that best suits the clients needs and objectives.
  • Market Analysis and Insights:
    • Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends and client needs.
    • Provide strategic insights and feedback to internal teams to drive product and service improvements.
    • Stay updated on competitive landscape and industry developments.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure a cohesive approach and handoff from sales to customer success.
    • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to clients and stakeholders.
    • Attend industry conferences to network, participate in discussions, represent the brand to drive awareness and successfully drive new lead generation.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Track and report on sales performance metrics, including pipeline development, forecast accuracy, and revenue targets.
    • Utilize CRM tools to manage and document all client interactions and sales activities.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record in the healthcare industry.
    • Strong understanding of the healthcare sales cycle, including knowledge of how decisions are made in hospital systems, key stakeholders and what drives them.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers.
    • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
    • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools like Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc..
    • Ability to hussle in industry conferences
    • Willingness to travel to attend conferences or pitch to clients in person as needed.
    • Experience working with healthcare workforce development, talent acquisition or training solutions or related.
    • Established network of contacts within the healthcare industry.
Aprende Institute is the largest Spanish-language education platform in the U.S., offering online skills-based training programs to over 250,000 students to date. Aprende Health works with employer partners to fill the most highly demanded talent gaps by upskilling the Latino population. To hospitals, Aprende's flagship offering is a 6-month Patient Care Technician program in Spanish that includes English instruction and white glove support to prepare Spanish-dominant Latino professionals to be patient-facing PCTs by the time they graduate. So far, Aprende has worked with the largest hospital system in the U.S., here are a few stats:
  • 200 applicants for a 20-person cohort (partner expanded the cohort to 30)
  • NPS of 100
  • 50% of open PCT roles filled by Aprende students
  • 50% of applicants have healthcare experience in home country
