Project Manager - Strategic Projects and Processes

Location: Jackson, MS (On-site 5 days a week)

We are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our team and spearhead strategic projects and processes within the CFO Division. This role is pivotal in driving organizational excellence by planning, organizing, and implementing corporate and department-level initiatives, as well as facilitating effective communication across functional and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Organization:

• Lead the planning and execution of strategic projects and initiatives directly for the CFO Division.
• Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure timely project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.

Project Monitoring and Implementation:

• Monitor project progress and performance metrics, identifying and addressing potential risks and obstacles.
• Implement project management best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

Communication and Collaboration:

• Facilitate communication activities, fostering collaboration and synergy among team members and stakeholders.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, including the CFO, to understand requirements and provide regular updates on project status and outcomes.
• Act as a primary point of contact for all provider-related corporate and strategic projects.

Process Improvement:

• Collaborate with process owners to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency within the CFO Division.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to drive excellence and innovation.

Job-Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required, with a focus on finance or project management preferred.
• 2-5 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Project management certifications such as PMP are preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Advanced PC skills, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Visio), are required.
