Location: Kent, WA
Duration: 6 Months Extension
Pay rate: $72/Hr on W2
Description:
100% Onsite Role in Kent, WA
Shift: Standard 9 AM - 5 pm
Qualification Questions:
- Describe your experience with LabVIEW.
- Are you familiar with object-oriented in LabVIEW? Please describe your experience using this (what companies, how many years, what have you done).
- Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- B.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer/Electrical Engineering. Other engineering or science degrees or work history will be considered if experience in the above responsibilities is met
- 3 years of direct software engineering experience in C#, LabVIEW, Python, C , OR similar experience
- This role will be responsible for co-owning the LabVIEW software stack and working directly with DSCE Integration Engineers and various test engineering groups to test and build capabilities
- 3 years of hands-on development of electro-mechanical or fluid system components such as pressure transducers, temperature, LVDT, bridge, accelerometers, and motion/servo controllers
- Solid working knowledge of electrical, fluid, physics, and math and ability to apply fundamental principles to real-world designs and problems
- Experience leading a major project from inception to production including owning its requirements, architecture, design, and implementation, with contributions from fellow developers
- Desire to work in a driven, fast paced, and dynamic environment
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and champion an inclusive culture
- Labview is a hard requirement - candidates must have this experience
- Project management experience, delivering results on-time and on budget
- Experience working in aerospace and/or a regulated test environment
- Experience with Linux, Git, Networking, CI/CD, Docker, Ansible, Artifactory
- Knowledge in scrum or agile practices
