Job Summary

Aptive Resources is seeking a dedicated and experienced Gastroenterologist to join our team at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System Center. As a Gastroenterologist, you will provide services in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized TJC, VA and national standards

Schedule: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday – Friday. Rotating weekends and holidays. Rotating weeks after normal working hours call coverage: 4:30pm – 7am.

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform endoscopic procedures in GI lab, including but not limited to EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound & ERCP’s.
• Staff and supervise GI fellows in the endoscopy lab and inpatient consult service.
• Supervise Fellows in the gastroenterology clinic when required.
