The position of Project Manager, Supervisor at Aqua-Chem oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management, project teams, and line management.

Essential Duties:
Oversee and manage a team of project managers, while maintaining own project management of customer accounts
Reviews status of projects and budgets; preparing status reports
Assess project issues and help project managers develop resolutions to meet scope, schedule, and budget while maintaining quality and client satisfaction
Develop and implement project management processes and procedures
Ensure projects of responsibility are managed as well as oversee other project managers to ensure projects are completed within budget and on time
Provide guidance and support to project management team
Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
Monitor all project progress and report on status to senior management
Assure that conduct of contract requirements is executed in accordance with appropriate regulations and Company policies and procedures (i.e.: federal acquisition regulations)
Responsible for bringing together internal customers and stakeholders any change order requests by customer to establish realistic scheduling and cost adjustments.
Leads team meetings with the integrated team beginning with project kick-off through project close.
Formally identifies, assesses, monitors, and mitigates risk throughout the project life cycle.
Conducts financial management of assigned projects and conducts the project administration. This relates to execution, realization and (possibly) commissioning and time, costs, quality, and information.
Proposes new ideas that lead to a more effective and efficient organization of the projects, allowing cost reductions and generating more margin.
Motivate, develop, and direct people as they work, identifying the best people for the job
Consider costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience/Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field
10 plus years of experience in project management
PMP preferred, but not required
3-5 years’ experience in leadership and/or team management role
Previous experience working in project management software
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality controls, and costs
Understand/use techniques for effective control of delivered quality, cost, and schedule in the manufacture of Primus products
Knowledge of the practical application of engineering and manufacturing including communication techniques, production procedures, and resources relevant to the production Primus products
Knowledge of management principles involved in strategic planning and forecasting including people, material, and equipment resource allocation; corporate and human resource policies and benefits; leadership and teaming; and production methods.
Familiar with lean manufacturing work area practices including 5-S, Visual Controls, Standard Work, work center metrics, and continuous improvement processes and able to instruct others in these practices
Proactive communicator who can clearly articulate results and needs across all level
Able to establish and communicate clear priorities and to influence others to support and act on those priorities
Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
Requirements:

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Able to work overtime as required
