The Patient Scheduler/Scheduling Coordinator acts as a liaison between Skin Cancer Specialists and its current and potential customers, assisting in the scheduling of appointments, explaining diagnoses and treatments accurately, and scheduling/coordinating appropriate treatments as outlined by the providers promptly. The coordinator also answers inquiries, resolves problems, fulfills requests, and maintains the designated database.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education - This position requires a High School Degree or equivalent completion.
Experience – Has 2 years of experience working in a contact center and familiarity with medical terminology and/or scheduling patient appointments. Prior experience communicating medical/test results to patients preferred. Proficient in the use of electronic medical records (EMR).
Communication – Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work Style - The candidate Must be able to work well independently but ask for help when needed. The candidate must also be able to analyze and interpret information and interact withand decipher information telephonically and electronically.
