Compensation / Perks:

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED equivalent, Bachelor’s degree preferred. Valid driver’s license

· Open availability (Consistent Schedule)

· Aquatic and/or Customer Service experience preferred

· Enthusiastic, friendly and self-starter attitude

· Demonstrates a passion to teach children and motivate a team

· Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· Willingness to travel locally and to Aqua-Tots headquarters (AZ)

· Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 5 hours)

· Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds

Position: The Aquatic Manager position consists of leading and managing all Aquatic Staff in upholding Aqua-Tots Swim Schools Core Values and brand standards in order to provide customers with consistent, quality swimming lessons that adhere to the Aqua-Tots Curriculum and provide excellent customer service in a safe and welcoming environment.

Typical Work Week:

· 10 hours of teaching classes in the water (private or shift coverage to keep current with Aqua-Tots curriculum)

· 10 hour of new hire training/co-teaching in the water

· 10 hour of WSI observations/assessments from pool deck

· 10 hour of Admin tasks from Aquatic Manager Office (scheduling, hiring, client calls, in-service safety meetings)

Staff & Student Management

· Manage all Aquatic Staff

· Oversee the hiring, training, mentoring, assessing, and scheduling of Aquatic staff

· Manage and document Aquatic staff certifications & disciplinary action

· Manage the progression of all students

· Nurture a team environment and promote the Aqua-Tots culture among Aquatic staff

· Ensure Aquatic staff swim lesson curriculum & parent and child feedback

· Manage and meet regularly with underperforming Aquatic staff

· Review and create action plans from Deck Supervisor reports

· Manage monthly Aquatic Staff Meetings and In-Service Trainings

· Manage monthly Master Instructor Meetings and Deck Supervisor Meetings

· Manage quarterly team building activities

Facility Management

· Maintain the pool, pump room, and pool environment to ensure adherence to the Aqua-Tots brand standard in safety, cleanliness, and overall appearance

· Ensure the safety of staff and customers

· Ensure completion and submission of incident reports when necessary
