Aquent is Hiring a Sr. Creative Resource Manager Near San Francisco, CA

Job Details

Our large retail client is looking for a Sr. Creative Resource Manager. As a Resource Manager, you will work with Operations leadership on systems to help engage, position, measure, and define resource allocation. The Resource Manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support of business plans and goals. This position will require a human touch and a data-driven approach to team management. This individual will also be responsible for supporting and enhancing a highly talented team with tools and support needed in pursuit of excellence.

This is a hybrid role in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and organize insights related to the resource utilization.
  • Analyze workforce data to identify trends and patterns that can help improve business processes. This includes producing reports and presentations that clearly communicate the findings of their analysis.
  • Ensure accuracy of data and reporting deliverables with comprehensive policies and processes.
  • Strategically assist in workforce planning by using data to predict future staffing needs and to identify potential issues before they become problems.
  • Uncover opportunities for process improvement and resource allocation
  • Own and manage resource requests from the Creative and Operations teams.
  • Work with HR and talent acquisition teams to request, recruit, and integrate new talent.
  • Develop and maintain a relationship with staffing firms to maintain a talent pool of freelance or contract resources to supplement internal resources when necessary.
  • Ensure that creative team members have the necessary tools, software, and technology to excel in their roles.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the creative team.
  • Proactively engages with resources and gain a meaningful understanding of their skills, experience, and aspirations; identify the project right opportunities
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to inform resource planning decisions.
  • Continuously optimize processes and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
  • 6 years of creative operations, production, or program management experience at tech platforms, ad agencies or media companies. (in digital media and marketing a plus)
  • Understanding of the principles and procedures for personnel recruitment and selection.
  • The ability to use data to inform strategic workforce decisions and forecast staffing needs.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, responsible, and accountable
  • Detail oriented and organized; ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strategic/tactical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong reporting and presentation skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Thrives, excels, and remains calm in an extremely fast-paced production environment
  • Experience with performance management and improvement systems.
  • Strong relationship building skills is key to the success of this role
  • High level of discretion as this role may deal with sensitive employee data, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations is essential.

Education/Experience Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sourcing and/or deploying a wide range of creative workforce, ideally with an in-house or external advertising agency.
  • Working experience with Workfront software
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
