About The JobWe are looking for a highly skilled user researcher in Austin to conduct greenfield research studies, analyze data provide actionable insights to inform product opportunities to improve the end-to-end real estate transaction experience and enhance our current product offering. You will play a critical role in understanding our users' needs, behaviors, and motivations. A successful candidate will have a proven track record for delivering high-quality research to inform product roadmap and drive positive outcomes for the business. What you will do
  • Develop and execute research plans, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies.
  • Recruit and screen participants for research studies.
  • Facilitate research sessions, ensuring a positive and productive experience for participants.
  • Analyze qualitative and quantitative research data to identify trends, patterns, and user insights.
  • Synthesize research findings into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Communicate research results effectively to product teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Champion user-centered design principles throughout the product development process.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and product teams to ensure that user needs are met.
  • Contribute to the development of user types, journey maps, and other user-centered artifacts.
  • Proficient in using research tools and software, such as Qualtrics, UserTesting, and Figma.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging research methodologies and technologies.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in user research or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of user research methodologies and techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for creating exceptional user experiences.
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and work independently.
  • Enthusiasm for innovation and a passion for improving overall customer experience through technology.
