Mid-Level Visual UX Designer - ONSITE in Covington, LA or Clearwater, FL

Our client is seeking a talented freelance UX Designer to join their team to bring their vision to life for a collection of websites . In this role, you will be responsible for the entire user experience journey, from crafting user flows and wireframes to designing, producing, and managing interactive online content.

About You:

• You are a mid-level UX Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to combine creativity, functionality, and user-centric design principles.
• You possess a keen eye for design and are proficient in industry-standard design software, particularly Adobe XD or Figma .
• You are an organizational rockstar with excellent time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously .
• You are a team player with a collaborative spirit and thrive in an environment where open communication is key.
• You have a deep understanding of user interface (UI) best practices and can translate wireframes into intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• You are comfortable working onsite in either Covington, LA or Clearwater, FL .

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to develop user flows and wireframes for a collection of websites.
• Design, produce, and manage interactive online content, including websites, web portals, and email templates.
• Ensure consistency in design across all company platforms , maintaining brand identity and alignment with usability standards.
• Develop high-fidelity wireframes that effectively translate into intuitive user interfaces.
• Work closely with the engineering/IT department to guarantee smooth implementation of new website content.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• 3-5 years of experience as a UX Designer or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of UX design principles and best practices.
• Proficiency in Adobe XD and Figma (or similar design software).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• A portfolio showcasing your UX design skills and ability to create user-centered experiences.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $43 to $58 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include; medical health insurance and dental insurance, life insurance, and eligibility to participate in 401k plan with company match (if applicable)
