A large electronics manufacturing company is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their team in Windsor, CT. The ideal candidate will have experience designing systems running on Linux and Android operating systems.

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mentor junior engineers
• Expert use of all typical electronic lab equip
• Develops circuit, component, subsystem, and equipment interfaces and procurement specifications.
• Perform resolution of anomalies identified during production manufacturing and test; as well as during customer deployment.
• Designs digital, analog circuits, components, and subsystems.
• Prepares designs specifications, analyses, and recommendations.
• Performs circuit interconnection or subsystem prototype assembly.
• Prepares design and operation objectives, specifications, and resource needs.
• Recommends test control, strategies, apparatus, and equipment.
• Supports the interfaces with customers, contractors, and marketing vendors.
• Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
• Conduct in-house design reviews and technical meetings.
• Prepares design proposal to reflect cost, schedule, and technical approaches.
• Manages personal schedule for electrical engineering tasks.
• Maintains existing electrical network infrastructure.

SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Electronic Engineering with 5 years of experience or an applicable Master’s of Science degree.
• Experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems hardware that support Linux and Android OS’s.
• Strong understanding of basic DC power supply topologies 
• Experience implementing electrical circuits. Strong understanding of Network protocols and their implementation in embedded systems.
• Experience with Biometric support systems such as fingerprint readers, facial recognition, etc.
