Job Description
The overall objective of this role is for the Marketing Intern to be an adventurous photo/video digital marketer who strives to elevate our brand experience on a daily basis and push the envelope of creativity with insights and ideas. We are looking for someone who is social media savvy, a confident writer and communicator, outgoing and innovative, and able capture photos and videos that help tell a story, while assisting with various objectives and working closely with Aramark's Customer Experience Manager and Marketing Team.
Job Responsibilities

• Utilize design skills to produce highly complex operations, and marketing support materials
• Develop ideas and concepts for a variety of communication channels, including but not limited to flyers, posters, signage, point-of-sale materials, websites, social media, and presentations
• Ensure Bama Dining identity, brand voice high-quality, photographs, proper grammar, message consistency, and accurate content for all projects. Maintain quality throughout draft, editorial, and production phases.
• Works independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team(s), meeting deadlines, and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include simultaneous projects
• Have a creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software, and a professional approach to time, costs, and deadlines
• Light office work
• Assist in content creation for Bama Dining social media platforms.

Qualifications

• Sophomore classification or higher at The University of Alabama
• Effective communication and presentation skills; both verbally and in written form in English
• Ability to work 10-20 hours per week.
• Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to customer experience
• Support customer experience strategies and perform duties accordingly
• Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge in Graphic Design programs such as Canva, PhotoShop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office, Excel and Word a plus
