TECHNICAL CONSULTANT

As a Technical Consultant at Aras, your key objective is to transform business requirements to a technical solution. Problem solving, team collaboration and customer focus as well as deep technical knowledge are essential in ensuring successful delivery as a Technical Consultant.

Core responsibilities:

• Configure the Aras platform and develop back-end and front-end custom code including integrations and data migrations
• Ensure that the technical decisions will guarantee Performance, Scalability, Maintainability, Upgradability and Security
• Contribute to the estimate of the effort needed to implement the requirements
• Produce the technical artifact that will be delivered to the customer
• Ensure the quality of the developed solution by creating automated tests as well as code quality with code analysis and code review
• Embrace the Source Control and Continuous Integration processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of how we deliver software solutions

Your profile includes: We expect that you have several years of experience with programming including experience working with information systems. You are able to transform requirements into technical solutions focusing on creating value for the customer.

Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft .NET technologies
• Experience working with SQL databases and Web Services
• Experience developing client-side web interfaces using the JavaScript framework
• Experience working with source control and continuous integration systems (preferably git, Azure DevOps)
• Fluent in English for communication in an international environment

As you will be working in a mostly remote working organization, it is important that you are able to work independently but at the same time have a strong team spirit. If you already know PLM, it is an advantage, but it is not a requirement.
