Arbor Lodging Management is Hiring a Regional Director of Revenue Management Near Chicago, IL

Summary:

The Regional Director of Revenue Management is responsible for the Revenue Management for a hotel portfolio of 10-14 select and full-service assets. They will provide direction to the hotels on how to maximize revenue through management of room inventories, market mix, and pricing strategies.

The ideal candidate will work in our Chicago office or Chicago based hotels.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist and review in forecasting for properties
  • Have in-depth knowledge of transient, group, and catering segments and skills in researching market presence for individual properties
  • Demonstrate great time management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Have strong knowledge and understanding of revenues management concepts, processes and systems, advanced revenue management techniques, and the ability to communicate these concepts to others
  • Understand brand strategies and cultures and how to integrate them into revenue plans for properties
  • Perform daily analysis, strategy changes, and reporting of competitive benchmarks in market trends
  • Develop pricing strategies for each assigned property
  • Manage and oversee all third-party distribution
  • Analyze overall monthly hotel performance and provide a summary report with recommendations to improve long-term strategies
  • Effectively communicate performance and strategy to executive leadership and owners
  • Effectively work in concert with sales and ecommerce to execute strategy and develop long term pricing goals
  • Practice finding less expensive means to reduce the cost of distribution
  • Prepare and participate in the annual revenue budget process
  • Advise and coach the client in the operational areas
  • Visit hotels to get first-hand knowledge of revenue management issues and other key areas

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in hospitality management
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
  • Marriott and Hilton revenue system knowledge and certification required, IHG and Hyatt preferred
  • Have a strong ability to communicate 
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, or have relevant experience
  • Have a strong working knowledge of TravelClick products
