Regional Director of Business Development - Statewide Travel Position
Arbors of Ohio is a leading healthcare provider of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in multiple states.
We are looking for an energetic, creative-minded, and experienced Regional Director of Business Development to support approximately 16 of our skilled nursing centers located Ohio.

Summary: Responsible for the formulation, development, and implementation of revenue generating strategies and policies. Creates a strategic culture necessary for the organization to accomplish its objectives.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree required. MA, MHA, or MBA preferred.
Experience:
5 years of experience in long-term care. 10 years of experience in health care.
Essential Functions:
Provide leadership function in charting Company’s course in business development and new business ventures.
Identify and manufacture relationships with health systems, ACO’s, IPA’s, HMO’s, and CMS and other government agencies which help meet Company’s strategic objectives.
In conjunction with the Senior Management, develop strategic plans and assist in implementation.
Design, create budgets and bonus plans, and oversee the business development team and structure.
Assess risk-sharing opportunities with providers in bundled payments or ACO’s.
Design cluster market strategies for MSA’s.
Meet with hospital and health system C-Level executives and regional VP’s to develop mutually beneficial business development strategies.
Attend relevant networking and educational meetings and seminars.
Evaluate technology needs to meet strategic goals.
Identify and help secure HMO contracts, either internally or through external partners, which help drive success towards meeting strategic goals.
Communicate at least weekly with CEO and/or ownership and/or members of Senior Management on progress towards goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Extensive knowledge of health care and SNF operations, business development, and health policy.
Ability to communicate effectively with management and employees.
Skilled in the use of computers and the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Ability to be accurate, concise and detail oriented.
