Arc Cardinal is Hiring a Customer Service Agent Near Totowa, NJ

SUMMARY

Responsible for processing Customer Orders and promptly responding to all customers’ needs for order status, stock checks, and price checks. The integrity of the relationship between Cardinal and the customer must be professionally maintained at all times.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.

  • Review all incoming orders and enter into SAP. This includes communication via telephone, fax, EDI and e-mail. Follow up to completion and shipment to the customer.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate customer files.
  • Responsible for entering order data into Customer portals
  • Assist the Customer Service Department and participate in special projects, as necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • General knowledge of Business and understanding of customer relations.
  • Must have strong mathematical skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP SD module a plus.
  • Must have strong computer skills including proficiency in Word and Excel.
  • Requires good oral and written communication skills including the ability to present ideas and/or facts and recommendations effectively.
  • Ability to work well with others within the organization to resolve issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 1-3 years Customer Service experience preferred.
  • SAP / Excel / EDI / Google Suite a plus.
