Associate Technology Specialist
Jacksonville, Florida – 3 weeks of Training, then remote

ARC Group is currently seeking an Associate Technology Specialist for a prestigious Fortune 500 company. This role is initially a 3-week training program at our client's Southside location in Jacksonville, Florida, transitioning thereafter to a fully remote setup. This position offers the potential for long-term contract extension or conversion to full-time employment.

Our client, a Fortune 500 enterprise, requires a local candidate capable of participating in in-person training sessions and subsequent remote work. While the role is primarily remote, occasional on-site meetings may be necessary, necessitating residency in the Greater Jacksonville area. Candidates must possess work authorization without the need for sponsorship, either presently or in the future.

Essential functions:

• Provide customer support via phone, instant messaging, and ticketing system
• Under supervision, address basic issues and requests related to desktop, server, mainframe, remote connectivity, and telephony applications/hardware
• Analyze, document, and resolve issues and requests
• Escalate complex issues and requests to senior Technology Specialists
• Document and route level 2 and 3 issues/requests to appropriate teams and assist in issue identification and resolution
• Utilize scripts and available tools during customer support interactions
• Contribute to department documentation and processes

What are the requirements to be considered for the Associate Technology Specialist?

• Minimum one year of experience in desktop support/helpdesk support, assisting users via phone, email, or webcam
• Excellent communication skills are essential
• High school diploma required; college degree preferred
• Technology certifications preferred, but not required
• Previous experience with ticketing systems is required
