Job Title: Testing Psychologist

Location: Redmond/Issaquah

Schedule: M-F

Shift: Days

Job Summary

As a testing psychologist, you will specialize in the assessment of Pediatric or Adult individuals with neurological, cognitive, and emotional disorders. Your role involves conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, interpreting test results, and providing therapeutic interventions. You will collaborate with mental health professionals to enhance the quality of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments, including interviews, standardized tests, and behavioral observations, to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. ADHD, Autism, Psychological Diagnosis.
  • Formulate precise diagnoses and differential diagnoses of neurodevelopmental and neuropsychological disorders based on clinical assessments and test results.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and intervention strategies tailored to the specific needs of patients.
  • Collaborate with neurologists, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss assessment findings, treatment strategies, and patient progress.
  • Stay current with developments in testing psychology and engage in research activities to advance the field.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential patient records, including assessment results, progress notes, and treatment plans, in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Offer psychoeducation to patients, families, and caregivers, explaining conditions, prognosis, and available resources.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Education:

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Assessment.

Certifications:

  • Licensure as a psychologist, which includes specific neuropsychological training and supervision.

Experience:

  • Completion of a postdoctoral residency in assessment or a related field.
  • Extensive clinical experience in conducting assessments, especially with a diverse patient population.
  • Strong knowledge of neuropsychological test batteries and diagnostic tools.

Physical Requirements:

  • Manual dexterity to operate office equipment.
  • May require periods of sitting, standing and the ability to walk to various locations throughout the health system to attend meetings.
  • Must have normal or corrected vision and be able to clearly communicate verbally by phone or in person.
  • Good communication skills and emotional resilience to provide support to patients facing mental health challenges.

Minimum salary/hourly: 85,000/40

Maximum salary/hourly: 140,000/70

Pre-licensed, Post-doctoral Candidates who are licensed eligible encouraged to interview.

Supervision Available

The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for this position. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
