Job Description:This is a technical position within the Power Delivery unit of Arcadis. The position consisting in the coordination of the power delivery substation electrical engineering team and performing hands engineering, detail design and studies for utility clients in North America. The incumbent will also work closely with Sr. and Lead Substation Electrical Engineer within the Power Delivery group.
As the successful candidate, you will:

• Support and develop substation physical electrical projects on high voltage transmission and substations at voltages from 12kV to 500kV with quality, schedule, and safe design in mind.
• Help engineer and design the following substation electrical package but not limited to - Station One Lines, General Arrangement/Key Plan, Section & Elevations, Grounding, Lighting, Lightning plan and details, Conduit and Cable Raceway, Control Building, Equipment Specification, BOM, Bid evaluation and all related calculations, studies, and reports.
• Responsible for QA on client reports and deliverables.
• Maintaining close coordination and help other relevant Arcadis Business Units and Practices for cross selling and cross staffing opportunities.

You bring to the role:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in substation electrical design, engineering and studies; US electric utility is a plus.
• Able to execute and delivery transmission and substation electrical package under supervision of Lead engineer.
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards including the National Electric Code (NEC), National Electric Safety Code (NESC), and IEEE.

The salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $122,000.00.
