Currently, we are looking for a Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator to join the ArcBest Technologies team. The Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator supports the day-to-day activities of the ArcBest Technologies R&D Procurement & Supply Chain team. This position assists in the planning and facilitation of large-scale procurement projects. This position assists leadership in the execution of multiple projects. The Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator proactively works with customers to order replacement parts. This position manages inventory and supply chain sources, issues PO's, and tracks the receipt of goods.
Your Contribution May Include

• Support senior leadership with procurement and supply chain initiatives.
• Lead the implementation of the enterprise resources planning (ERP) system and train new users.
• Maintain ERP update requirements once implementation is complete.
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to review engineering change orders (ECO) and provide updated drawings to manufacturers.
• Source and purchase bill of materials (BOM), with emphasis on electrical and technical components.
• Oversee inventory levels and proactively coordinate with customers regarding replacement part orders.
• Arrange the shipping and transportation of procured products.
• Communicate with receivers within ArcBest to ensure correct delivery tracking procedures.
• Maintain accurate asset-tracking documentation.
• Report project progress and communicate updates to senior leadership and external vendors as needed.
• Report to accounting regarding assets as required
• Assign GL coding and process payables.
• Manage supplier portfolios and pricing updates.
• Conduct monthly AFE review with senior leadership.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
• Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As the Supply Chain and Procurement Coordinator , you will be a member of the ArcBest Technologies Research and Development team. Your work hours will generally fall between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Ready to apply? Before doing so, please make sure you meet the minimum requirements:Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Experience in supply chain, procurement, warehouse management, or finance may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience: Minimum, two years' experience in procurement and supply chain, preferably with significant exposure to a manufacturing environment and MRO category spend.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Other Requirements: Demonstrated organizational, decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to learn new systems quickly.
