Responsibilities Arcfield is growing its cadre of mission-focused, experienced program managers and is looking for a proven, cleared Program Director to lead a large system engineering & integration (SE&I) and full lifecycle acquisition program. The Program Director works directly for the Vice President, Ground Systems Engineering Business Unit, and is responsible for effectively applying Arcfield's industry-leading workforce and broad breadth of mission and software capabilities to accelerate the transformation of a Government agency ground enterprise. The Program Director serves as Arcfield's representative with its core critical customer and is responsible for the management, direction, administration, quality control, and leadership of all personnel assigned to the program. This is a unique opportunity, more demanding than just a program manager. This Program Director is responsible for engaging across Arcfield's organization aligning and influencing the development of corporate capabilities and IRAD investment to deliver innovative and differentiated solutions to the Government customer. The ideal candidate blends the reliability and confidence of a proven and experienced program manager with the curiosity and ingenuity of a lead technologist well-versed and/or inspired by innovation including artificial intelligence, large language models, DevSecOps, CI/CD, multi-cloud, and other emergent technologies. Our nation and customer are challenged by competing great power threats and this position provides a mission-focused, technology savvy leader the ability to significantly impact that equation. The ideal candidate has effective and trusted relationships within the Intelligence Community (IC) and drives Arcfield's strategy to support SE&I and SETA solutions to build business revenue. The Program Directors credentials include a technical education and mission understanding of the IC, the development of mission and industry partnerships and relations, and successful experience in managing existing work, re-competes and winning new business development opportunities. Experience in staff management/development and creation/management of operations is required. Job Duties will include: * Lead, plan, organize, staff, and monitor specific SE&I programs to ensure they meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements throughout the life cycle and maintain accountability for accurate and credible cost, schedule, and performance reporting.
* Identify, assess, and promote mission and software relevant methodologies, technologies, and innovation into future, planned, and operational enterprise capabilities with robust engagement across industry.
* Oversee, lead, and integrate the Arcfield functional teams to analyze potential contract requirements, refine program requirements, and continuously coordinate with users to determine appropriate interpretation.
* Conduct planning and programming to produce the program plan.
* Oversee the preparation, justification, and/or administration of budgets and monitor expenditures for program areas.
* Establish and oversee a risk management approach to ensure program success.
* Manage ongoing working relationships and expectations with government customers, stakeholders, users, and decision authorities.
* Oversee, monitor, and approve the technical strategy against requirements.
Qualifications Qualifications and requirements for this position shall include: * Minimum bachelor's degree, but master's degree preferred.
* Must know and have demonstrated experience with supporting the Intelligence Community (IC) specifically in ground mission and enterprise software and applications
* Extensive experience initiating, building and maintaining trusted relationships with a diverse set of Government customers.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of contracts/projects.
* Possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
* Must be able to manage a budget and report on Profit & Lost to senior managers.
* Expert understanding of the IC's financial processes to include preparing, justifying, and administering the project/program budget.
* Demonstrated ability to identify and lead new business opportunities, spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with Arcfield's overall strategy.
* Current TS/SCI clearance
* CI ploy preferred Preferred qualifications for this position shall include: * PMP Certification
* Experience working in the DoD/Military at the strategic level.
