AGP&N Teachers have a natural affinity for caring for children and seeing each child as unique, special, and full of potential. Your role as caregiver is to partner with children in an authentic and meaningful way each day to inspire love and learning!
Utilize the best attributes of our Catholic Faith and a variety of philosophies and methods including project work, bringing nature indoors, incorporation of STEAM, practical life skills (Montessori) and open-ended works and child led play and learning (Reggio Emilia). Manage lively classrooms filled with a community of children who are independent, critical thinkers in addition to being prepared for their next chapter in education.
AGP&N Floater Teachers are to care and pray alongside the children, and create an environment that belongs to the children. Adherence to the Daily Schedule of the room assigned provides consistency and structure for the children.
Floater Teachers and Caregivers must be willing and capable of adhering to the daily schedule and performing the following tasks:
- Report to the PIC (Person In Charge) or Director upon arrival for assignment
- Report back to the PIC or Director for next assignment
- Assist with Ratio Compliance as needed
- Escort classrooms to the gym
- Escort classrooms returning from the gym
- Assist classrooms with pottying and diapering
- Assist: Classroom Opening & Operating Responsibilities
- Assist: Classroom Operating & Closing Responsibilities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour
