Archbold Medical Center is Hiring an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING Near Cairo, GA
Prepare/review staffing worksheets to evaluate needs in relation to census and acuity
Document call-ins
Call in PRN staff when necessary
Make patient and unit rounds at the beginning and end of the shift and on an as needed basis
Promptly and fully investigate and resolve issues that arise with patients, visitors, and physicians
Regularly check the physical environment and report needed repairs to appropriate personnel
Provide a thorough report for the on-coming shift
Participate in various Quality Improvement activities as assigned
Experience/EducationCurrent Georgia RN License in good standing
BSN required or evidence of a plan to obtain BSN
Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
3-5 Years Of Professional Nursing Experience RequiredTwo years in a supervisory capacity with demonstrated management and leadership abilities
Must have extensive knowledge of professional nursing theory and practice and knowledge of modern principles and practices of hospital operations and nursing administration
