The program aims to empower immigrants in participating in their communities through service, leadership formation and action, while promoting justice. As part of Pope Francis vision of the mission of the Church, Cardinal Cupich launched a violence prevention initiative to increase the capacity and reach of current programs that address the root causes of violence in Chicago and to identify and actively seek collaboration with like-purposed organizations.
