Job Description: Advancement Coordinator

Reports to: School Principal

Hours and Pay:  Part-time (29 hours or less per week), hourly rate

The advancement coordinator leads fundraising efforts for the school and is responsible for executing a program that will generate gifts from alumni, parents, grandparents, and parishioners.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and implements fundraising strategies to secure financial support from donors
• Works closely with the principal on major gifts and fundraising events
• Builds and maintains relationships with donors
• Oversees planning and execution of the largest annual fundraiser, Mane Event
• Coordinates donor communication and thank you letters
• Effectively coordinates and implements an annual campaign or day of giving
• Develops and executes alumni programs and activities

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• A positive and supportive attitude towards the Catholic Church, her teachings, and her work
• Bachelor's degree with preferred sales, marketing, retail, or development experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects
• Proficiency In Microsoft Office
• Experience with event planning

Physical Requirements: Visual acuity both near and far, manual dexterity with good eye/hand coordination, good hearing, and speech; ability to sit for extended periods; standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending, lifting, and squatting as necessary to perform the duties of the position; ability to lift/move objects of up to 25 pounds in weight.
