General Description

The Alumni Success Coordinator r is responsible for creating and managing the Detroit Cristo Rey Alumni Program. This includes maintaining communication – written and verbal with alumni, planning and executing events, and campus visits. On occasion, it may require coordination and support of non-Alumni specific events. Other tasks and responsibilities as required may be requested.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and people skills. S/he must be self-directed, work with limited daily supervision or instruction, and embrace and drive continuous operational improvements. Demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities is required. The candidate will be motivated by the mission of the school and its impact on the families that we serve.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Identify barriers to college enrollment and provide appropriate support
• Maintain accurate data collection on college enrollment for all alumni
• Schedule and make campus visits to monitor progress of alumni as needed
• Develop and coordinate alumni events (Summer BBQ, Reunion, etc)
• Provide internship and career support to alumni as needed
• Other duties as determined by the Development Director
