Archdiocese of Detroit is Hiring an Athletic Coordinator Near Allen, MI
- Provide administrative support to the Athletic Director, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Assist with game-day operations, including confirming officials, managing game rosters, preparing game-day paperwork, and transportation schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of physicals, athletic participation, eligibility, and statistics.
- Process athletic equipment requests and help manage inventory.
- Oversee athletic department communication channels, including email and social media (may require content creation).
- Assist with athletic department budget and financial tracking.
- Supervision of home games and some away games.
- Undertakes other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative or athletic support role preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Working knowledge of high school athletic administration is preferred.
- Familiarity with athletic event management software is preferred.
- Passion for high school athletics and a commitment to supporting student-athletes.
- Experience with facility management and maintenance.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and sportsmanship.
- Available to work flexible schedule including afternoon/evening/weekends.
- Propagating a culture of Christian faith, sportsmanship, professionalism, and respect at all levels.
