GIRLS VARSITY HEAD BASKETBALL COACH
The Head Basketball Coach works in partnership with the Athletic Director to maintain, organize and administer the interscholastic Basketball program at Marian High School. The Head Basketball Coach is primarily responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit. Shared Responsibilities include interviewing, recommending for hire, and training subordinate coaches; planning, assigning, and directing Basketball instruction; appraising student-athlete and subordinate coach performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems; The head Basketball coach is responsible for helping promote the mission & vision of Marian High School and the core educational beliefs of the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary with the school’s Basketball athletes and coaches on a regular basis. This includes propagating a culture of Christian faith, sportsmanship, professionalism and respect at all levels.
