The Request for Proposals (RFP) Presales Team is responsible for assisting the global presales team in completing proposal documents (Request for Proposals-RFP/Request for Information-RFI) that relate to Archer’s Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solutions. As a member of the RFP team, team members will utilize internal RFP tools to respond to both functional and technical requirements. The team will partner with the global Presales team in completing these documents as well as collaborating with additional teams including Bids & Proposals & Product Management.
The team will work to understand the customer’s needs and position the Archer Integrated Risk Management (IRM) solution as the technical platform of choice to meet those needs.
The RFP Team must analyze customer business & technical requirements and respond with answers that position Archer well. The team should also identify occurrences where Archer may not be a fit or where non-out-of-box solutions would have to be built to address the need. Members of the RFP team will utilize Archer training as well as internal resources to respond to the request.
Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer requests for proposals and develop bills of materials for Archer implementation projects
  • Maintain full knowledge and proficiency with Archer Platform/Solutions
  • Assist with the support/maintenance of RFP tools utilized
  • Able to identify customer requirements and provide the most appropriate responses as well as feedback where central RFP library responses could be improved
  • Provide proactive ownership of response library
  • Skilled in the identification of innovative solutions to complex situations that differentiate Archer in the eyes of the customer
  • Develop a strong knowledge in analyzing, designing, and recommending approaches to implementing customer management processes
  • Provide summary statistics on metrics coming from RFPs/RFIs on solutions in scope as well as categories of questions Archer receives
Required Skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks in support of multiple proposals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate fluently in English.
  • Ability to learn technical and functional elements of the Archer IRM platform and be able to respond to requests.
  • Ability to act independently as well as the ability to work across multiple teams within the organization.
  • Time management – ability to work with Presales team members in various time zones and to prioritize and manage tasks in relation to RFP due dates.
