Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for the production of amorphous metal ribbon.
- Conduct metallurgical testing and analysis to ensure product quality and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures to maintain high standards.
- Conduct research and development to innovate and improve amorphous metal ribbon properties and manufacturing techniques.
- Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and opportunities for process improvements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to production staff and other stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed documentation of processes, tests, and results.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to support new product development and commercialization efforts.
- Bachelor's Degree in Metallurgy or Materials Science required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with amorphous metals or advanced materials.
- Strong understanding of metallurgical principles and materials science.
- Experience with metallurgical testing and analysis techniques.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes for amorphous metals or similar materials.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficient in the use of metallurgical lab equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Background in Metallurgy.
- Salary range $80,000 - $120,000 dependent on experience.
