Job Title: Agency Director
Job Summary:
1) The Director of Archie Home Care serves a critical leadership role. He or she is responsible for overseeing the agency’s overall management, compliance, and strategic direction.
2) He or She has the authority to make decisions related to day to day operations, staffing , client care, and resource's allocation within the limits of agency policies. Major decisions, such as changes to the agency’s mission, vision, or strategif goals shall require consultion with the governing body.
3) He or She reports directly to the agency governing body and serves as a key liaison between the governing body, staff, clients, and external stakeholder.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1) A health care practitioner as defined in G.S.90-640(a); for purposes of this section,health care practitioner“ means an individual who is licensed, certified, or registered to engage in the practice of medicine, nursing, dentistry, pharmacy, any related occupation involving the direct provision of health care to patients.
2) An individual who has at least 2 years of supervised or management experience in home care or any other provide licensed pursuant to G.S. 131E, or G.S. 112C; or
3) An individual who holds a bachelor’s degree in health, business, or public administration science and has experience in home care or other licensed health care program.
