Archimedes Global is Hiring an Outreach and Transition Coordinator (Part-time) Near Alexandria, VA
Archimedes Global is currently seeking a Temporary, Part-time Outreach and Transition Coordinator to join our team in Alexandria, VA in support of our efforts in facilitating post-service career paths for transitioning Service members. The ideal candidate is proactive and detail-oriented as this role involves analyzing outreach opportunities, providing strategic recommendations, and coordinating logistical aspects of virtual forums and master classes. This is a hybrid position - eligible for telework but must be available for monthly onsite meetings and occasional performance in Alexandria, VA, as required. The selected Outreach and Transition Coordinator will be responsible in the following areas: Outreach Analysis and Recommendations:
Analyze potential outreach opportunities related to post-service career paths
Conduct thorough reviews, compile findings, and prepare detailed reports
Make strategic recommendations based on analysis to enhance outreach effectiveness
Engagement and Coordination:
Collaborate with the DPFSC Public and Private Engagement Director regularly
Obtain guidance on strategic next steps and implement agreed-upon actions
Provide feedback and recommendations to government leadership on career path development initiatives for transitioning Service members
Logistical Support for Virtual Events:
Assist in organizing virtual forums and master classes via Zoom and other platforms
Manage administrative tasks such as maintaining mailing lists and sending out email communications
Coordinate logistics during virtual meetings, including monitoring chat interactions and providing technical support as necessary
Career Path Development Support:
Support efforts related to accessing programs like Hire Our Heroes, entrepreneur opportunities, internships, licensing, apprenticeships, and higher education
Collaborate with stakeholders to synchronize and coordinate career path development initiatives
Assist in administrative tasks related to these programs as needed
RequirementsRequired Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience
6 years of experience
Active Public Trust Security Clearance Required
Proven experience in outreach analysis, strategic recommendations, and report preparation
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in using virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom/Teams/Meet) and basic technical troubleshooting
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
Understanding of military transition processes and programs is preferred
