About the position
As a BIM Specialist, you will be responsible for providing building information modeling (BIM) services for Company projects and assisting in the development of fully constructible 3D models and detailed construction documents as necessary to support field electricians with challenging electrical installations.
This role will focus on technologies related projects, including but not limited to all types of low voltage systems such as voice / data, video and security systems, audio visual, nurse call, distributed antenna systems and fire alarm systems.

Day in the life
Prepares calculations, specifications, cable pull schedules, reports and other documents as needed.
Provides technical support to project managers, field personnel, estimators, and customers. May attend BIM coordination meetings.
Stays informed of new electrical and safety codes, materials, technologies, techniques, and practices. Participates in electrical construction-related training to maintain a high level of proficiency and updated technical skills.
Builds effective relationships with customers, foremen, project teams, specialty contractors, vendors, suppliers, user groups and others that reflect and support the Company’s core values and meet or exceed the customer’s expectations.
