NP/PA Acute Care General Surgery Opportunity in Abilene, Texas

Location: Abilene, TX Position Details:
Full-Time schedule; 10 hour shifts- Rotating 7 days on / 7 days off- Seeking an advanced practice clinician (APC) to join our acute care general surgery team!- Work alongside a TeamHealth general surgeon covering moderate trauma
Your day will consist of in-patient rounding, assisting with surgical post-op clinic, emergency department (ED) consults and assist in the OR with surgical cases- Candidates should have an active Texas license, current ATLS certification, familiarity with basic wound care, be eager to grow in their career and willing to be a team player- Full benefits package including health, dental, vision, CME and professional liability insurance with tail coverage About the locations: Abilene, Texas, is a fast paced city with many downtown locations to visit. Abilene is known for their city architecture as well as the six colleges located within the city. There are activities for the whole family - community parks with recreational sports, children's museum, Abilene Zoo, Paramount Theatre, Grace Museum, six libraries and so much more. If traveling is more of your interest there is easy access to state highways as well as an easy two hour commute to the Dallas International Airport. So, whether your family loves to be outside and explore nature or spend time enjoying the arts, there is so much to do here in Abilene.
